Meet The Team

Kayo started ballet when she was six. She learnt ballet from a Tokyo professional ballet dancer, Tomoko Kurosawa and frequently participated in the ballet contest which was held by the Japan Ballet Association. Kayo got a remarkable result in the competition every year. She was the champion in the junior

In 1998,  she graduated from Central School of ballet in the United Kingdom. Then she began her life as a ballet tutor in Hong Kong. Kayo worked as a ballet teacher in Plasia Ballet School located in Tai Koo. At that time, she also started to learn Chinese dance on herself and even got the Grade 2 qualification in the Chinese Dance Graded Exams. In 2000, she was awarded the Asia Dance art special award and joined the Asia Tour as a ballet dancer. She performed in several countries like Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan. In 2004, she became the first Japanese student in Shanghai Theatre Academy which acted as the first step for Kayo to achieve her dream as being an active performer in Asia.

Kayo 自小受到身為舞蹈教師的母親影響，她從6歲開始便對芭蕾舞產生興趣，更師從當時東京赫赫有名的芭蕾舞導師黑澤智子學習芭蕾。她多次參加由日本芭蕾舞協會舉辦的比賽，並分別在 。1998年，她從英國Central School of ballet畢業後來到香港，並在太古Plasia Ballet School擔任專門導師。2000年她獲得Asia Dance藝術特別獎，後來更以舞者的身分參加亞洲巡迴，於香港、馬來西亞、新加坡等地演出。2004年，Kayo以首位日本人的身份入讀上海戲劇學院， 當時的她夢想在亞洲舞台上大放光芒。兩年後，她在上海開設麗佳文化有限公司。2007年，她開設了第一間芭蕾舞學校BB Ballet Studio。2013年，於香港設立Ballet blanc芭蕾舞教室，更在兩年後正式成立Ballet blanc Entertainment Co.,Ltd。翌年，於銅鑼灣開設Ballet blanc Ballet Studio。2019年， Kayo獲頒The Best Teachers Award 最優秀指導者獎。

日本舞踊講師である母の勧めで、6歳よりバレエを始める。日本バレエ協会バレエコンクール  小・中・高部門で 優勝、第2位、3位と年毎に受賞。

In his over 20 years as a ballet teacher and dance educator, Stephen Xavier brings to his students his experience as a professional ballet dancer, and a training that emphasizes the development of artistry in addition to technique.

Stephen is currently Artistic Director of The Hong Kong Ballet Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting ballet education and nurturing local ballet talent through ballet productions, competitions, workshops and master classes.

As a ballet dancer, Stephen performed with the Hong Kong Ballet and The Royal Ballet in London, having been trained at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Royal Ballet School. His professional accolades include the Hong Kong Ballet’s “Dancer of the Year” Award and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship.

Upon completing the Royal Ballet School’s Teachers’ Training Course for Professional Dancers, Stephen began his teaching career at the International School of Ballet in Calgary, Canada. Since his return to Hong Kong, he has taught at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and at various local ballet schools. He has also been a guest teacher in other parts of the world, including France, United Kingdom, Japan and China. Over the years, he has coached students of all ages, many of whom have gone on to professional dance careers, or have achieved good results at ballet competitions and exams.

Irene is graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in Master of Fine Arts (Dance). During her study, Irene received scholarships to exchange in China and France. She also performed lead roles in Sylvia and Serenade during her study. She actively competed and received numerous awards in Hong Kong and China. She attained Solo Seal Award from Royal Academy of Dance in 2013 and joined Hong Kong Ballet in 2014. Irene is passionate in dance education and started teaching ballet since 2011. She also taught Easter Ballet Workshop for Hong Kong Ballet in 2017 and 2018 . Irene is also active in local dance community which she co-ordinated Hong Kong Ballet Group Stars Award 2017, 2018 and Solo Night 2017. 

​香港演藝學院取得舞蹈藝術碩士學位，期間曾憑獎學金到中國及法國交流，並在本港及中國多次獲得獎項，曾取得英國皇家舞蹈學院考試及香港芭蕾舞團頒發的Solo Seal Award。Irene熱心於舞蹈教學，在2011年開始教授芭蕾舞，層任香港芭蕾舞團於2017及2018年所舉辦之香港芭蕾舞團之導師。活躍Irene亦於本地舞蹈活動，分夠在2017及2018年協助舉辦芭蕾舞超新星大賞等大型活動。

幼少の頃からモダンバレエを母の影響で学び、ダンスやウォーキング指導を行う。同時にエリートモデル養成2期生を卒業しモデル活動をする。モデル経験の中で自己との対話繋がりの大切さを知り、ヨガの道へ。そして2005年から日本でハタヨガ講師として、多数のスタジオでヨガクラスを持ち介護施設にてクラスも行い幅広いフィールドで活動。　その後、米国ニューヨークで生まれたバレエを基本としたエクソサイズ”バレトン”を学び、インストラクター資格を取得、香港で初のバレトン講師としてBallet blancに参画、ダンスが初めての方も気軽にできるエクソサイズとして、普及を目指す。

Kelsey began her dance training (Ballet) at an early age, at the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet.  During that time, she was awarded a Tsinform C. Wong Memorial Scholarship, and gained high marks for all her RAD exams, whilst also participating the school’s annual performance Stars of Tomorrow.  Kelsey finished her study for a BFA (Hons) at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, she has performed in numerous Academy productions as well as community performances at Hong Kong International Airport with the Excel programme of HKAPA and also with Dance Art (White Box Dance Series), also cooperated with different famous choerographers such as Cameron Mcmillon, IratxeAnsa and John Utans.  She also competed in a group work in the The 10th Young Ballet Stars Award and The 44th Open Dance Contest, winning Silver and Gold Award respectively.  In 2016, she has been awarded the Ballet Faculty Scholarships and the HSBC HKAPA Mainland China Study Programme. Recently she was selected to participate in a major cross-stream choreography for performances in Hong Kong and in Canada, at the World Dance Alliance Conference, 2017. In 2018, Kelsey has worked for Hong Kong International Drummer Festival- Young Friends Scheme and was a choreographer of the Drum and Move Programme.

​自小在王仁曼芭蕾舞學校接受芭蕾舞訓練，以優秀成績完成所有RAD考試，亦曾獲得獎學金及參加明日之星等大演表演。Kelsey在香港演藝學院取得藝術學士學位，期間多次參與各類型表演，曾與多位著名排舞師合作，如Cameron Mcmillon, IratxeAnsa and John Utans等，經驗豐富，同時在多個本地大型比賽中取得優秀成績。2017在世界舞蹈聯盟學會參與香港及加拿大區的排舞工作。2018年為香港國際鼓手節之表演排舞。
